The Secretary of State's office welcomes and encourages new citizens to register to vote. Our office, in addition to several California counties, regularly attends the U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services ceremonies, in which new citizens are sworn in as new citizens to the United States. Please call the Secretary of State's office or your local county elections official for more information regarding the dates and locations of the U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services ceremonies.
