Voting System - Diebold AccuVote-TSx
Touch Screen System


California counties that use Diebold AccuVote Touch Screen System:
Kern, San Diego, San Joaquin and Solano

STEP 1:
  • At the polls, sign in and receive a ballot activation card.
  • Insert the ballot activation card into the AccuVote-TS voting machine
  • Your ballot will appear.

STEP 2:
  • Touch the screen anywhere inside the box of the candidate or issue of your choice. A large red X will appear to confirm your selection.
  • Review your selections and make changes if you wish.
  • Touch the "Cast Vote" target area to record your vote after you have made all selections.

STEP 3:
  • The ballot activation card is deactivated and ejected by the machine.
  • Return the ballot activation card to an election worker.
